Hoppecke, the German leader in the production of industrial batteries and energy charging and storage systems, has for several years now been operating a new Research and Development centre in Zwickau, Saxony. The Zwickau site features a modern 1,500 sq.m building where the focus is on research, the key that allows the company to create and develop increasingly cutting-edge products, meeting customer needs and respecting the environment. The new research centre was designed with spaces that offer employees maximum comfort. To fulfil this requirement, 750 metres of Duck Strips have been installed, ensuring the best heat output with the lowest possible environmental impact: indeed, our radiant panels use hot water. Heat by radiation also means complete silence, no moving air, a uniform temperature throughout the environment and no fire risk. Hoppecke moreover appreciates the fact that our heating strips do not need any type of routine maintenance, and their performance remains unchanged year after year.
